Each Luare hair claw is handmade in France, in a family-run atelier, from the finest, italian cellulose acetate - sometimes called "faux tortoise shell" - a natural, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable material derived from wood pulp and cotton flowers (think: the fabric equivalent of viscose, but for hair accessories).
Because it's crafted by hand, every piece is unique in both durability and beauty - and supports traditional European craftsmanship.
What also sets it apart? An extra inner row of tiny teeth, designed to grip your hair more securely - no matter the length or texture.

What are the tiny inner teeth for?
