How was Luãre founded?

What does Luãre mean?

The name "Luãre" was inspired by a moment of peace and balance. It came from Portuguese where "lua" means 'moon' and "mare" means 'ocean'. The combination of these words symbolizes light and harmony, both externally and internally. Read more about this story in the interview with our Founder, Monika Frydrych.

It will be my first time trying Luãre. What product do you recommend?

If we had to recommend one product for all hair types, we’d suggest our Elixir Hair Oil. It’s the ultimate, essential multipurpose oil for hydrating, nourishing, and adding shine. Our Coastal Comb is also a great choice as a grooming tool — it detangles, styles, and massages the scalp. However, the best products for you will depend on your specific needs.

Are Luãre products suitable for all hair types?
Yes, Luãre products are designed to be suitable for all hair types. Depending on your hair’s type and thickness, you can adjust the amount you use to achieve the best results for your unique needs
I have naturally curly hair. Which Luãre products do you recommend for curly hair types?

While all of our products work well for every hair type, we particularly recommend the Elixir Hair Oil and The Signature Conditioner for curly hair. These products are packed with oils and nourishing ingredients that help define curls and waves. Additionally, our Coastal Comb is ideal for curly hair, thanks to its wide-tooth design that detangles gently. For drying, our 100% cotton Hair Hug Towel with a soft, waffle texture is perfect for plopping and preserving curl definition.

Can I use Luãre products in combination with each other?

Absolutely! All Luãre products are designed to be effective on their own and to work seamlessly together, complementing each other like a capsule wardrobe, but for your hair. Our Signature line provides comprehensive care, while The Elixir Hair Oil boosts shine and nourishment. Additionally, our accessories are thoughtfully crafted to match, allowing you to create a perfectly coordinated collection of combs, clips, and barrettes.

Should I use The Elixir Hair Oil on wet or dry hair?

You can apply The Elixir Hair Oil both on wet or dry hair. With this concentrated product, less is more, and the dosage depends on how you use it. For wet hair, to seal in moisture and close the hair cuticles, we recommend using 1-2 drops for short or fine hair. For thicker, longer, or curly hair, consider using 2-3 drops. For dry hair, apply 1 drop after styling for extra hydration and shine. Please see the complete How to Use instructions on the product page.

What ingredients are in your products?

Where are your products manufactured?

All our cosmetics are produced in a renowned, women-owned laboratory in Poland, certified with international GMP standards.

Accessories such as combs, claws, barrettes and brushes are handmade in Switzerland and France, while textiles are sourced from Poland and Turkey.

I'm allergic to certain ingredients - how do I know your product is safe for me?
We list all ingredients on our product pages for transparency. Additionally, our cosmetics undergo a detailed dermatological testing to ensure suitability for sensitive skin. If you have specific allergies, we recommend consulting the ingredient list with your dermatologist.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes, adhering to European Union regulations, we do not conduct animal testing or engage in commercial exchanges with countries that require animal testing.
Are your products organic?

While our formulas are primarily plant-based and contain a high percentage of certified ingredients, they are not certified organic.

Are your products vegan?
Yes, all Luãre formulas are vegan-friendly, with the exception of The Coastal Brush nº1, which contains ethically sourced boar bristles collected through gentle combing practices.
Can I use your products if I have sensitive skin?
All our products are dermatologically tested for normal or sensitive skin (for products that have a direct contact with the skin, like The Signature Shampoo). However, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test before full application if you have known sensitivities.
How can I find out if a product is suitable for my hair type?
Our products are designed with a "capsule wardrobe" concept in mind, offering perfectly balanced formulas that are multifunctional and suitable for all hair types. I recently started using Luãre products. It didn't work for my hair…
We’re sorry to hear that you're not having a favorable experience with Luãre products. It’s important to remember that it might take some time for your hair to adjust to new formulations. We test our products on various hair types, textures, lengths, and scalp sensitivities to ensure they work effectively for a wide range of individuals, but every person has different needs. We recommend giving our products a bit more time, as we truly believe they can improve the condition of your hair over the long term. It’s also important to stick to application instructions - for example, for The Elixir Hair Oil, just a drop or two is usually sufficient for optimal nourishment and moisture. Packaging & Recycling

1. Plastic bottles / screw caps & plugs

    • Glass Part: Place the glass part in the recycling bin for glas
4. Carton Boxes

What are your shipping options?

How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Use this number to track your shipment on our carrier’s website.
Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we offer international shipping within UE and a few countries outside: Switzerland, Norway, USA, Japan, United Arab Emirates, India, China. Delivery times and costs will vary based on your location. Please proceed to checkout for detailed information.

Do you ship to North America / South America / Asia / Australia / New Zealand / Africa / Russia / Middle East?

What should I do if my order is delayed?

Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?

 To change your delivery address, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Address changes can only be made before the order is processed and shipped.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
Contact our customer service team immediately if you receive a damaged or incorrect item. Provide your order number and details of the issue, and we will assist you promptly.
Can I return or exchange products?
We accept returns and exchanges for unopened and unused products within 14 days of purchase. Please visit our Delivery & Returns page for detailed instructions.
How do I check the status of my order
You will receive an order confirmation email with your order number and receipt. Our warehouse team will process your order, and once it’s shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link via email. If you haven’t received a confirmation email or your package is overdue, please contact us at hello@luarebeauty.com.
My order is delayed. What should I do?
Occasional delays may occur due to network issues, weather events, or peak holiday periods. Check your tracking link and contact the delivery company directly. If you need further assistance, contact us at hello@luarebeauty.com.
What if I did not receive an order confirmation email?
Check your SPAM inbox and verify if the payment was successfully processed. Ensure your email address was entered correctly. If payment has been deducted but you haven’t received a confirmation email, contact us at with your details for assistance.
How will I be refunded?
  • Original Payment Method: Refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for the original order. Notify us if your account details have changed.
  • Gift Cards: Refunds will be issued as an e-Gift Card sent to your email, which can be used for future purchases. Gift Cards are tied to the email used for the original order and cannot be transferred.
  • Part Refund, Part Gift Card: If your order was paid with a combination of Debit/Credit Card and Gift Card, refunds will be processed accordingly.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:

Other credit cards are not accepted but can possibly be added to a PayPal account after which you can then pay your order on our website using PayPal.
In what currency can I pay my order?
If you are purchasing from our EU website, all payments will be handled in Euros.
Will I have to pay import duties?
If you placed an order for EU address, you will not have to pay import duties to receive your order.
Where can I find my invoice / receipt?
You receive an order summary in your order confirmation email after you have placed an order. The receipt will be attached to this email. You can also find your order history in your Luãre account. If you wish to receive an invoice, please make a note when placing the order and contact our Customer Experience team at hello@luarebeauty.com so we can send it to you.
